Bigstuf Summer Camp (for rising 9th-12th Graders)

Hey parents,

So this year I know many of you have asked about "this Bigstuf camp" and what's it all about.

Well...

How do you put into words one of the most transformational weeks in the year of student?  How do you effectively communicate the connections that are made with Christ, their leaders and their peers?  How do you describe the care and concern that the folks at Bigstuf put into each and every week? This won't be easy, but let's start with who is Bigstuf?

Bigstuf is an organization right here in our backyard of Alpharetta Georgia.  Each year, the team crafts amazing messages & themes, fabulous worship and a great team of interns that pull off the summer.  Then they load up the semis and move into Panama City Beach Florida for over 10 weeks of the summer.  They literally rent out an entire hotel/conference center right on the beach to host tens of thousands of students all summer long.  They provide the full camp experience at a location that has no trouble appealing to teens.

So that's the nitty gritty of who they are....but what about what they do?

I personally have been supporting Bigstuf for over 10 years now because I believe in the mission and vision of this great organization.  They have the ability to pull together artists, speakers and talent to evoke an intense "wow factor" from anyone there, but that's not it, they actually deliver with solid, challenging messages and powerful times of worship.  There is just no other camp out there that can do what Bigstuf does and the way they do it.  When you make the investment (vs pay a price) for your student to attend, I can all but guarantee they will leave Bigstuf with a broader knowledge of who God is and who they are in Him.

 This Summer, I am asking that you send your high schooler to Bigstuf with us, not because it's cheap (can I get an Amen!), not because it's convenient, and not because it's easy, but because I believe in the work that goes on there.  There is just something about that van ride down, the first glimpse of the beach, and the wide eyes of what God is doing in the general sessions that no other camp can create.
