What's Happenin' @ Forward Mid-Week

Below is a brief summary of what talked about this week. Most of the time we teach through a series for several weeks at a time that way students that miss can get caught back up quickly, and so we can dissect a topic more fully than just a one night deal. Use the overview and questions for both you and your teen to answer and have a dialog that continues outside the church walls and into your homes. Use this opportunity to see what God is teaching your student and also allow your student to see what God is teaching/taught you.

Current Series:

"Snap Thatis a three week look at The Garden of Eden, and how sin changes our relationships.  Snap That" is an intentional play on words and reference to the popular messaging app snapchat."  Snapchat has been in the news quite a bit as the source of all kinds of inappropriate conversations and relationships. Part of the allure of the app is that you can send a picture or message to someone, and it disappears after a few seconds.

This Week's Recap:

Week # 2 (01.13.2016): Sin Changes our Relationship with others

Bottom Line: Sin is not a victim-less activity. Often there are others that are damaged and hurt by our actions.

Who have you hurt by your selfishness?  Who have you blamed for a bad choice that you have made?  Who has hurt you?  What would it take to restore those relationship that sin changed?
